About Transilience
Transilience is building the next generation of AI-powered security operations. Our LLM-based platform helps enterprise security teams detect, investigate, and respond to threats faster and more accurately than ever before. As we scale, we are looking for engineers who can bring that technology to life in our customers' environments.
The Role
This is not a passive support role. You will be deep in customer infrastructure, tuning LLM-driven detection logic, integrating with cloud security services, and making sure the platform delivers real signal, not noise.
You will act as the bridge between our product and the security operations teams that rely on it every day.
What You'll Do
- Own customer environments end-to-end - deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain the Transilience LLM platform across a portfolio of enterprise accounts.
- Tune and optimize LLM-based detection logic - refine prompts, outputs, and model behavior to match each customer's threat landscape.
- Integrate with cloud security ecosystems - connect the platform to SIEM/SOAR tools, cloud-native security services (AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender, GCP SCC, etc.), and identity systems.
- Manage LLM API integrations - ensure reliable, performant connections to LLM providers in production, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate on detection engineering - partner with customers to build, test, and refine detection rules and use cases powered by the Transilience platform.
- Drive platform health - proactively monitor deployments, respond to incidents, and identify opportunities to improve coverage and reduce false positives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor - translate complex AI/ML behavior into clear, actionable insights for security practitioners.
What We're Looking For
LLM & AI Experience
- Hands-on experience working with large language models in a production or near-production context.
- Solid understanding of prompt engineering, model behavior, and common failure modes (hallucination, context drift, etc.).
- Experience integrating with LLM APIs - OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or similar.
- Ability to debug and iterate on LLM outputs to improve quality and reliability.
Cloud & Security Infrastructure
- Experience deploying and managing workloads in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with cloud-native security services: Security Hub, GuardDuty, Defender for Cloud, Security Command Center, CloudTrail, and equivalents.
- Understanding of IAM, network security, secrets management, and cloud security best practices.
- Comfortable operating in customer-managed cloud environments with strict access controls.
Detection Engineering
- Experience writing or tuning detection rules (SIGMA, KQL, SPL, or equivalent).
- Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and how it maps to detection coverage.
- Ability to evaluate detection quality - identifying gaps, reducing noise, and validating true positives.
- Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Chronicle, Palo Alto XSOAR, etc.).
General
- Strong troubleshooting instincts - comfortable digging through logs, APIs, and infrastructure to find root cause.
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with both technical engineers and security leadership.
- Comfortable managing multiple customer environments simultaneously with a high degree of ownership.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role (professional services, solutions engineering, or similar) is a plus.
What We Value Beyond the CV
Curiosity
You ask 'why does this work?' not just 'does this work?' You read release notes, explore edge cases, and have almost certainly broken something just to understand how it fails.
Tinkering Instinct
You build things on weekends. You have a homelab, a side project, or a script you wrote because you got annoyed at how something worked. You learn by doing, not by watching.
Hard Work Ethic
When something is broken in a customer environment at an inconvenient hour, you show up. You take pride in follow-through and hold yourself to a high standard without needing to be reminded.
Comfort with Ambiguity
AI systems do unexpected things. Customer environments are messy. You stay calm, gather context, and form a hypothesis rather than waiting for someone else to define the problem.
Low Ego, High Ownership
You give credit freely, ask questions without embarrassment, and care more about getting to the right answer than being right. When something goes wrong on your watch, you own it.
Why Transilience
- Work at the intersection of AI and security - two of the most consequential fields in tech.
- High ownership and direct customer impact from day one.
- Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits.
- Remote-first culture with a team that values depth of expertise.
- You will be working with technology that is genuinely new - not rebranded tooling.
